Canada

Mountains, quiet lakes, and the kind of vastness that resets you.

My Experience

Canada holds a special place in my heart. I lived in Surrey, British Columbia, and from there explored this vast and beautiful country from coast to coast.

The Rocky Mountains took my breath away in the most literal sense. Standing at Moraine Lake, watching the turquoise water reflect the surrounding peaks, I felt the kind of awe that makes words feel inadequate. I visited Banff and Lake Louise in both summer and winter, and each season offered something magical.

My travels took me to Cold Lake, Alberta, where I had a VIP experience watching the Frecce Tricolori Italian Air Force aerobatic team. From there, I explored Edmonton and made a memorable trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller—a dinosaur lover's paradise.

In the East, I fell in love with the charm of Mont Tremblant, the history of Ottawa, and the energy of Toronto. Every year, I visit my dear friend and her family in Pickering. Those autumn trips—pumpkin patches with her kids Rivia and Aerys, watching leaves change, experiencing Canadian Thanksgiving—have become some of my most cherished traditions.

I've also explored Niagara Falls (both sides!), wandered the quaint streets of Port Perry, and soaked in the multicultural vibrancy of Toronto.
