My Experience
Hong Kong holds a special place in my heart for the people who waited for me there. On one trip, I reunited with my cousin Ate Jiejie at Hong Kong Disneyland—matching Minnie ears, Olaf ice cream, and pure joy after years apart.
On another visit with Steve, we discovered the magic of sailing Victoria Harbour on a Dukling—one of the last traditional Chinese junk boats still operating in Hong Kong waters. These red-sailed vessels have been sailing these waters for over 60 years.
Beyond the personal moments, Hong Kong dazzled with its incredible food, stunning skyline, and the perfect blend of Chinese tradition and modern innovation. The city moves at an incredible pace, but there are pockets of tranquility in the temples and parks.
