Macau

Where Portuguese heritage meets Chinese tradition.

My Experience

Macau is a fascinating blend of East and West—a place where Portuguese colonial architecture stands alongside Chinese temples, where egg tarts taste different from anywhere else, and where history whispers from every cobblestone street.

Often called the "Vegas of Asia," Macau is so much more than its casinos. The historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with beautiful churches, fortresses, and gardens that tell the story of centuries of cultural exchange.

I loved wandering through the old town, discovering hidden temples, and eating my way through the unique Macanese cuisine—a fusion that exists nowhere else in the world.
